Hi,
I would like to ask anybody who applied for EEA (fm) residency card and been issued with Home Office reference number by email.
1. When you put that number in Home Office application status page and sometimes it says AWAITING DECISION but if it says DECIDED, will it tells you if your application been successful or not or you will only find out when you receive through post?

No it will not. You will have to wait for the decision to come in the post.

Would you know by any chance that I got my COA letter issued to me on same day as my online application status says it's DECIDED, is it normal?

Probabaly no link at all. You must remember that the online checking system is a BETA system and not always accurate and often lists a 'decided' for a previous application as some members applying for citizenship have found.
