Hi All,

I have just read in the PR Application processing timeline thread that someone has had their PR approved on basis of ROR and did not submit ex-ID. A cover letter was sent with application explaining that there hasn't been contact between them and this is why ID not submitted.

This is what I have included in my cover letter so hoping mine will be fine.

Will keep you all updated but this is positive news that PR is still being granted without ex-ID providing clear reasoning has been outlined.

Well it all depends. I have had 3 application granted without ID, so grant of Residence card without ID is not a problem.

It is only certain nationalities that it appears this rules is applied to.

I observe that some discrimination on grounds of nationality applies. There are difference between their treatment of people of certain nationality

If this is true then Home Office is targeting few nationalities
And this is totally unfair and un declared discrimination against some nationalities in the UK
It is hard to believe that Home Office is following Mr.trump.
