Hi All,
Please help in regarding the following matter:
1. I enter the UK as a holder of Article 10 residence card with my Austrian wife as i have Pakistani Passport and got wet stamp on airport stating "admitted to UK under the immigration(EEA) regulations 2016 for - 6 months". As I was exercising the treaty, therefore, I have the right to work in the UK. Isn't it??
2. I applied for jobs and now received a job offer from a company agreed to pay over 30k p.a. I wanted to apply for EEA2 now. Can you please tell me, is it okay to show my salary and contract for me and my wife as self-sufficient income or funds for EEA2 permit as my wife is still not working but lives with me.
i will be thankful for advice.
kind regards,

EEA nationals are entitled to reside in the UK for an initial period of three months without needing to exercise a Treaty right. An EEA national who will be in the UK for more than three months will have a right of residence for as long as they remain a qualified person.

If you are able to secure the job and start deriving lawful earnings from it, then yes you can rely on that for self-sufficiency purpose, but based on what you have written, it does not appear that you have been engaged and deriving earnings from this work. So i don't think you will qualify, even if you are in possession of a CSI.

Thank you for your reply.
I can wait to apply after a month when i will get my first pay in order to give solid evidence.
What do you think about that?
Moreover, yes i will sign contract with the company and get paid everything on my NI number.

To stay legal, you need to start working and get CSI in place within 3 months of your wife arriving in the UK. I think getting your wife to work is your only defence against the combination of a negative CoA, the Home Office taking 6 months to issue your residence card, and your employer suspending you for not providing a statutory excuse. You would suddenly find that you were not self-sufficient - unless you have built up large savings.

Hi all,
I have few questions to and I will be thankful to anyone for answering or advising.
Situation:
I moved with my wife to the UK and straight away apply for EEA2 as she had a job offer so she got job letter and we have sent this to HO.
We are not waiting for my COA and due to her studies, she might stop job and study (it's an Online UK university degree ). We are planning to do so as soon as i will receive my COA.
Questions:
1. my father can give us money living above 16k but he will transfer to my Austrian bank account.
1.1.Can I show Austrian bank statement for self-sufficiency?
1.2. Will that big amount trigger negative impact on the application as it won't be savings but i will get help from my father but genuine money and not for a visa only?
2. Meanwhile, I am applying for jobs and hopefully will get an offer until COA arrive.
2.1 is if ok to send documents to HO that my wife as lost job and now I am having job and earning more than the amount of social benefits so that I will be bearing all expenses?
Thank you in advance for answering.
regards,
Syed
