Asking for my cousin:....his wife is french national been working for just over two years. he sent eea2 application 3 weeks ago but says the wife has lost her job. What can he do? Inform the home office?....and how will that affect the application? His wife plans to look for work asap....any advice will be appreciated

His wife should register with job centre as a job seeker immediately and inform home office of the changes. Should also inform home office once she gets a job with the job offer letter.

Thank you will advise him..... would they refuse to grant the card because of that?

She will still exersizing treaty rights as a job seeker but this will be for a limited time. I believe 91 days as a jobseeker throughout the treaty period and she will need to show that she has a genuine chance of getting a job towards the end.
It will all depend on evidence produced as just registering with jobcentre is not a guarantee

Hi...do they have to email home office with details from job centre? Any idea what email address to use...or should they write and post to where the eea2 application was sent? Many thanks

Write to HO using same address and include application reference no.
