Hi,

I have a doubt. I have my EEA Residence Card in my old passport. Can I work showing both passports, I mean the old one with the permit and the updated one?

Thanks

Hello
I am using my old passport with residence card in it since 2013
Always given old passport with new passport while taking employment.
Also I traveled on both passport inside EU and outside eu as well
So no issues at all. Most of employers do understand it if not tell them to run the ECS on you

Hope this helps

Ali

You dont need to. I did apply the transfer recently and had a call from Home office few weeks ago that didnt need to. I guess they wont transfer and send everything back or re issue resident biometric card. Only a year left to apply PR SO I DOUBT IT.
Like I said they called and said dont have to apply. Strangely though they sent me COA a week after the call. So they are processing something....
