Hi all ,
Please i need a help as i have received two different opinion .
i am non eea family member of eea national . i have visa type: resident document card - EEA FAMILY MEMBER VISA for 5 years .
5 years ago they told me once i spend 5 years i should apply for Indefinite leave to remain . Now they told me i have to apply for EEA PR .
Can you please tell me which form i should apply for and why ?

My wife is Slovakian ( under EU) and i have RESIDENT DOCUMENT - visa type - EEA FAMILY MEMBER VISA.
we live in England.
My wife has been in England for more then 12 years.
my daughter was born here and she get the British passport.
My question : 5 years ago when i applied to get the EEA family member visa , the lawyer told me after 5 years i should apply for indefinite leave to remain but i changed the lawyer and she said i dont have the right to apply for indefinite leave to remain and i should apply for EEA PR.
Please can you let me know what is the difference between ILR and EEA PR
and what form i should apply for ?

AS the solicitor told me long time ago that after 5 years i should apply for Indefinite leave to remain. Another Solicitor told me few days ago i have to apply for EEA PR.
in my case what form i should fill and what is the difference between the two .

EEA PR costs £65 EEA PR (click)

Indefinite Leave to Remain (which you can't apply for), costs £2,287. This route is for ILR based on UK Immigration visas and not EEA/EU route unless applying on the basis of 10 years long residence.

CR001 for how long i should hold the EEA PR before i apply for passport ?

You need to have PR for 12 months before you can apply for British Citizenship and then a Passport.

The date you 'attain' PR is an earlier date to the date your PR card will say. You should get a letter with your PR card stating the date you 'automatically attained PR' and it is 12 months from this date.
