EEA PR application - bank statements query

Hello,

I'm applying for a PR card and one of the items on the checklist is proof of address. I intend to provide bank statements that will cover the full 5 year period.

Do you know if it will suffice to print out the pdfs from HSBC and provide them, or do I need to ask someone at the nearest branch to sign/stamp them?

Thank you.

Your bank statements will have to be stamped by an HSBC branch since they are not the original documents provided by your bank. Tenancy Agreement? Utility statements? Virtually anything with your home address will be accepted but again if not original they would need a stamp otherwise they won't be deemed as the originals. However, if your bank statements have a header or a footer saying that they were printed by your bank then they should be accepted.
