Can travel with BRP if lost PR

Hi Everyone

I have PR sticker in my passport issued last year and also Non-EEA BRP card valid until Dec 2019. If In case I lost my Passport along with my PR sticker can I enter UK with my BRP?

Unless you had had only a retained right of residence, your residence card under the EEA regulations would not have been invalidated by your achieving permanent residence or by being issued with a permanent residence card. However, as a non-EEA citizen you would require a valid passport to enter the UK from outside the British Isles. Similarly, if you actually held a valid biometric residence permit (an unlikely combination, as a *BRP* is issued under the UK Immigration Rules, not the EEA Regulations)), it would not have been invalidated by obtaining a PRC.

Thanks, Richard W, so it means I will be able to enter on my non-EEA BRP card (with new passport) in case I lost my PR card in my passport and will not need to apply for a single entry visa to the UK.
