LIVING IN THE UK WITH EXPIRING EU PASSPORT

Hello everybody!
I've just recently moved to the uk about two months ago and I hold a Spanish and brazilian passport. My Spanish passport is about to expire (in 2 weeks) and since I lived in brazil my whole life I haven't got any other Spanish ID.
I tried to book an appointment to renew my Spanish passport in london, but the next available date in March,5th.
Question : will I be ok just waiting for the date to renew my passport? Or do I need to leave the uk before my passport expires so I'm not 'illegal'?
