Hi all...i need your advise please...
I'm non-eu national, was married for 7 years, got my permanent residence in uk as eu family member in 2017 and now my husband told me he wants to move back to his country and find a new girl and he doesn't love me anymore....
im shocked and I don't know what to do now...do I need to find an immigration solicitor or do i need to inform home office about it? I don't want to brake UK rules... when I received my card the only way I could loose it was the absence from UK for more then 2 years...so as far as I understand I don't depend on him anymore? Please advise??? I cant apply to retain my rights because I have got a permanent residence already so I am confused what should I do next...

Well if you have permanent residence, his departure will have no effect on your residence status.

It is permanent residence card of a family member of a union citizen..i have remarks on the back - "eu right to reside''...do you think I don't need a solicitor?

Don't think you do, for immigration purpose, unless of course you wish to divorce him.

So what shall I say to the border control when I return to UK from a holiday for example? They will ask me about my husband and where is he etc...shall I just say we split?
