Hi obie and everyone;

I need you advice as i am applying for ROR soon, my case is:
Was married to EEA national in 2013
Get divorced in jan 2018
5 years residence will expire in july 2018
Marriage last 4 years 2 month
Living together 4 years 2 month
Have her original passport
I was working during 5 years and i am still

The thing i am worried about is she was qualifyed only 4 years and she didnt work last year in 2017, she clained job seeker allowence and she singed only 3 weeks.

What proof can i provide to support my case in 2017, as she was looking for job all the time.

Thank you so much

Topic split. Please do not tag into other people's topic.

The Government has imposed series of criteria for Jobseekers, the question of whether or not a jobseeker is a qualified person is a question of fact.

Hi obie,

Did you heard some refusal applications, because of the gap in employment history, and what to do to avoid it, my ex provide me with job seeker allowence first letter, what can i add to that to show she is qualifyed?

Thank you

After signing 3 weeks what happened?

Jobseeker cases are not always very straightforward, as it involves as assessment of whether the person was genuinely seeking work and had realistic prospect of seeking employment.

Was the EEA national in employment before she became a jobseeker?

There are many jobseekers as well, the Saint Prix jobseeker, the Antonissen jobseekers, the worker jobseekers. So it is a bit of a complex area.

Thanks for your replay;

Yes she was in employment 2013, 2014,2015, 2016,
but the gap is 2017 and the date of divorce
She claimed job seeker allowence for 3 weeks then she stoped,
Now she still looking for job;
Is there any chance in my case;
If i submit only the letter from job seeker allowence;
Is that enough?
