Dear guys,

With me it’s been so stressful and I am just stuck. MAybe of of you can suggest who else I can contact for help because I just don’t know.

The story - applied to return my European Passport ( sponsoring NON-EEA)

1. ROD - 25 days ago ( no response)
2. ROD - 15 days ago ( no response)
3. ROD - 5 days ago ( no response)
4. ROD - few days ago ( no response)
5. Called EEA hotline - told that will be posted urgently due to urgent and serious reason ( asked for evidence - said can’t get it that quick , answers no worries will be posted)

And nothing yet received.

Called again hotline - could not give any answer is it been posted or not.

Asked for legal advisor for help - just said to wait ( don’t have time to wait - that person I need
To see can die before they send me
My passport !!’)

Asked local MP for help - waiting for answer ,
But seems like they haven’t even seen my email

Asked embassy for help - no answer yet

I am just stuck guys, anyone have any ideas? I really need to travel and it’s out of EU as well so can’t even get emergency document.

Help!!!’

Hi Daniel,
I do not know if your situation is serious enough to justify that but if nothing else works, declare it lost/stolen (not necessarily innacurate if they are not giving it back!!) and get an emergency passport?
Most countries are able to produce emergency passports on the same day.
Later you would then have to regularize your situation in the UK.. are you applying for EFM or PR?
I see your flag is canadian.. the form is even called "PPTC203 Declaration concerning a lost stolen inaccessible damaged or found Canadian travel document." (you see, "inaccessible" is there, I think this is your situation?)

Op's, sorry, I now see you are actually the EEA member.
Why do you say you can't you get an emergency document?

I guess that actually makes it easier, as you are not the applicant and thus won't have any permits associated with your passport.. so even if it is invalidated,it won't affect your situation with the home office.

Nope because I have to go outside EU and there is no emergency document thing for LV citizens.
Unless you wanna go back home , but I don’t.
And it’s holiday season for Latvian embassy between 30.03-03.05 for them and they won’t even make anything quick. Flight is on 03.05 ( this is last one I could get ) originally had it on 20.04 ( which I missed and lost tonna money)
Again - this is where I am stuck.
