PR renewal from a expired passport

Hello all,
hope all is well,
I have searched and searched and now slowly giving up.
My mum's Indian passport expired which had a valid Permanent residence via non EEA route.
I have just renewed the passport and now wondering how to bring the valid PR from old expired passport onto the new Indian passport.
I am currently looking at a form i downloaded from .gov website and makes me dizzy going through over 100 pages.
She originally had ILR but last time we renewed, the home office stamped a PR via non EEA?
Surely, there is another way? my mums been here for over 20years.
