EEA family permit from outside UK

Hi Everyone,
My German wife and I (Indian guy) are living in the US and applying for an EEA family permit. I have a job offer in the UK so we are looking to move there and take advantage of the work authorization that comes with the EEA family permit.
We just found out that we are expecting a baby
Question is: Do we mention in the application? and provide a letter from the doctor that we are expecting a baby so that it supports our argument that we have a valid and solid marriage and we must be traveling together to the UK. Alternatively, will it be too much info to include and can harm the application than help?
