EEA(QP) + spouse: lawyers needed?

Hi!

My wife is a German national and I am Canadian. I currently have a 6-month EEA FP and we're both living in the UK.

We were advised to apply for the Registration Certificate for her / EEA Residence Card via https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/eea-qp before the 6-months are up.

I went through the online form and it seems shockingly very simple and that I do not need a lawyer (XXXXXX is offering to review the documentation for a discounted fee through my spouse's work). Am I missing something or is it this easy?

In my head:
- Apply online
- Do the European passport return service (pre-booked before submitting the application)
- Send a bunch of documents (photos proving our mariage, phone bills, council taxes, etc)
- Wait
- Get BRP ?

Am I missing something or is it a (shockingly) relatively easy, DIY process?

Looks OK. But with for 2 more reply

These lawyers are there to loot you legally, if you meet the ukba criteria, then it should be OK. Do not trust solicitor too much...
