Residence in the UK PR form

Dear members,
I am filling out EEA4 form for my non EU spouse. I have some diffeculties with section 5: Residence in the UK.
Question 5.3: have you (or has your sponsor if applicable) had any absence from the UK since you/they entered?
There are 2 tables. One for the non EU spouse who is applying and one for the EU sponsor.
The guidence notes says: “you only have to list any absence if you have been out of tthe UK for more than 6 months in total in any 12 month period”
My question is:
If the absence has been less than 6 months, do I leave question 5.3 empty? Does it not apply to us?
