Im really in need of help.
I had a 2nd PR application refused mainly due to the fact my husband is paid cash in hand. Plus apparently the accountant wasn't paying his taxes.
Im really worried about applying for a third time.
Although this time we have asked the person he works with to provide us with his bank statements.
Could anyone help with any other route possible because it's starting to get really stressful.

Explains more, are you EEA or Non EEA? And I believe your partner is EEA national?! You need 5 years continuous proof of work/ self sufficient/Self employed. Has your partner worked for 5 years without stopping?!

If you've had two applications refused - it would be best to either get advice from a lawyer or wait until the new Settled Status scheme comes into validity in March 2019, which means you will only need to prove residency and not working status.

Well spotted, NikiGio.

However, please keep in mind the kind of evidence they will likely need to supply for proving their residence for Settled Status, which might or might not be straightforward (as per current info available here https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-ci ... led-status):
Proof of continuous residence
If you’ve paid tax through work or received benefits, you can use your National Insurance number to help confirm when you’ve been resident in the UK.

You’ll be told if you need to give any further evidence to prove your continuous residence, for example:

P60s or P45s
payslips
bank statements
utility bills
annual business accounts
employer contracts or letters confirming employment
letters, invoices or certificates from accredited educational organisations
passport stamps confirming entry at the UK border
airline or train tickets confirming travel into the UK
You’ll be able to submit scans of these documents through the online application form.

You will not need to provide evidence of your entire residence in the UK, only for the period that proves you’re eligible for settled or pre-settled status.

Fair point Kamoe - I hadn't actually read the guidance on SS yet. I will do now!

:)

Might be confusing to call Settled Status "SS" as it has historically stood out for Surinder Sing. It took me a few seconds to figure out what you meant. Just a thought ;)
