If your wife is not exercising treaty rights, then you will not qualify, unless she has secured the right of Permanent Residence.
For her to be self sufficient, you will need medical insurance for the entire family, and you will need to show that they have access to your resources.

That will not be sufficient. You need to demonstrate that she has been working for 5 years in the UK. If you cannot then a medical insurance is required, and you may need to show your income is sufficient to maintain you all.

You welcome. Try and inquire where she is. If she has left the UK, that will be double issue, as you would have lost kids and visa.

Need to seek a court order to prevent her from taking kids overseas, and then try and resolve the residence issue.

You need her ID and evidence she has access to your earnings.

The test is, when your rent, her rent for her new place, her council tax fro her new place and your council tax is deducted from your earnings, is the money you are left with equivalent to the amount a family on income support will get every week?
