Can Retain Right of Residence card holder get British Nationality?

Hello everyone,
I am divorced after 4 years of marriage with EEA national.
She worked all 4 years and continue working till today..
On the other hand, I'm working from last many years and continue working till today.
She has provided me all supporting documents for my Retain Right of Residence application.
My absolute decree is due in few days.
Now, I am going to apply for Retain Right of Residence.
1. what is the processing time?
2. Can I apply for British Nationality after this? or what is next procedure?

The next step is to obtain a permanent residence card or to directly apply for "settled status", i.e. ILR under Section EU of the Immigration Rules.

As the trial rules stand (Appendix EU of the Immigration Rules), yes, even though you are not covered by the withdrawal agreement.

What is the best way to get British Nationality after Retain Right of Residence?
1. Should I apply for citizenship and than British Nationality?
Or 2. Permanent residence card and than British Nationality?
What would you suggest?

1. You naturalise - citizenship = nationality (in the UK)
2 You need PR Card

Or ILR! The OP is en route to ILR, but the Immigration Rules probably haven't got there yet.
