Applied for RC 10/03/2016
1st Biometric: 27/05/2016
Refused 23/10/2016
Refused Because my application passport details was different from my entry passport (complicated).
Apply for Appeal 09/11/2016
First appeal date: 11/03/2018 cancelled
2nd appeal date: 21/06/2018 approved
Appeal allowed: 18/07/2018
2nd Biometric: 06/09/2018
Finally Passport and RC received 26/09/2018

I have been a member here for about 1 year but been reading anonymously for almost three years. I have been through hell mentally dealing with HO as I have two children and my partner while dealing with them. I’m sharing my experience as I know other people going through the same on here. Patience is the key to reach our destiny and I hope God grant every one their heart desire. Right now I’m free and can live happily with my beautiful family.

Please I have a friend who is in a similar case but He has been paranoid to hell. His passport entry details both name and d.o.b is different from the one He uses to Obtain his Non-EEA permit. But unfortunately they took his finger print when he applied 10 yrs ago when He was coming in initially.

Now that finger print have been mandatory He has been panicking like mad. He did declared in his PR retain right application that he was known with a different name before and the fingerprint was taking on that name.

He his patiently waiting for Homeoffice reply.

Can you please shed more light to your case or anybody is similar experience???

Hi, any news with your friend application i'm on the same boat as him, 12 year year ago, the name and d.o.b on my entry passport is differene from the one i used for my RC in uk. So im thinking of declaring it when im applying for my PR in August. Please update us because im worried as well that they will make issues about it. If any got any idea please help that you.
