Hello guys,
I am lost and I started to give up about searching....

I came to the UK with an EEA family permit visa, and when I went to the agency to apply about a work, they told me that my visa not for work, so I applied for resident card and I made the home office biometrics enrolment and I paid the fees, so can you please tell me if the home office will provide me with a letter of certificate of application ( or something like that ).... that I am allowed to work before I get my resident card ??

What is your relationship to your EU family member? This makes a difference.

If you are the direct family member (spouse, dependent child, child under 21, or dependent parent) then you will get a certificate of application confirming your right to work, usually about a week after you do your biometrics.

If you are the extended family member (all other relationships, including unmarried partner), then you will get a certificate of application that does not yet confirm your right to work. Usually, you get this letter at the same time as your biometric letter.

So... if you have not received this letter and you already enrolled your biometric details, I gather you are a direct family member, in which case you have your answer (but please confirm).

thank you for your answer, really you made my day.

I am married to the EU Family member, and she is doing her rights legally. I made the biometrics last week, so that's mean I will get the certificate this week or next week.

I appreciate your help.
