can I join my wife to the Uk

Hello all dears

please I seeking an advice, I'm from Morocco married with a polish lady and I've temporary resident card for three years and my wife living and working in England for three years, we have a polish marriage certificate and a Moroccan marriage certificate, we tried to travel together from Poland the authorities signed my passport to travel but when the gate opened, Ryanair service checked my passport then they said I can't travel with her because I need Uk visa even we showed to them our marriage certificate they said no Ryanair refused, then I back and I went to an immigration lawyer and she said to belong the law I can travel with my wife to the UK with without Uk visa because she is European citizen then I tried again and no chance, so my question please what can I do in this case ? how can I get to the UK ? best wishes

Hi everybody,

I'm Moroccan man Married with a polish lady with a Moroccan marriage certificate and Polish marriage certificate I've moved to Polan to get my temporary resident card, now I'm living in Poland but my wife is living and working in Uk three ago and she is still living there, I want to know how can I join her there without a visa because she is European ? do I need a visa to join her in England ?

They should have let you in - unfortunately, this is not the first time this sort of thing has happened due to airline staff not being knowledgeable on immigration laws and being afraid of facing heavy fines. You and your wife should definitely complain to the airline.

Your best bet may be applying for a Family Permit -
you and your wife will have to provide supporting documentation.

Reason for visit: OTHER
Visa type: EEA/Swiss Family Member
Visa Sub Type: Family Member of an EEA National
