hello Everyone, I am married to a EU citizen and I have been living in the UK for 2 years. My husband is a Permanent Resident and I have my 5year EA spouse Resident Card. I came here on a EEA Family permit.

One of my friends (also here on a EEA family permit) brought her mom over from Venezulea with a tourist visa and applied for her moms EEA Family permit through her Portuguese husband. She applied for this permit 1.5 months ago from the UK and it was granted. She used a solicitor and told me she proved her mom was depending on her by depositing money every month into her account.

I didn't know a family permit could be requested while being inside the UK. What application is this?

Thanks

Apply for a Residence Card for non-EEA family members within the UK.

Also look at this very similar case:

eea-route-applications/eea-pr-for-depen ... 64070.html

In this case, Obormot and I applied for EEA (PR) as our respective parent have been here more than 5 years. Your friend's Mum needs to apply for a Residence Card as she's been here less than 5 - but the pronciples and supporting evidence required are similar.
