Can i get PR?

Hi guys,
A month ago I’ve got a EEA unmarried visa.
My bf consider break up but he said he will support me all documents until I apply to PR.
If we break up(i hope not..) can i apply PR with his supporting documents?
Any advice very appreciate it...

An unmarried partner Residence Card requires you to be in a relationship with him as his unmarried partner for the whole five years following the issue of the Residence Card in order to acquire PR. Unmarried partners do not get to retain the right of residence in case of breakdown of relationship.

We are not break up yet but he wants to take break or whatever.
He doesn’t want me to leave UK so he suggested me live together after 5 years like housemate then he thought i can apply PR.
Is not correct?
If not, what is the process/documents i need to apply PR later?
Im suffering this situation which is break my heart.......
