Hello! I am a non EEA family member, we are separated but not divorced yet.
My 5 years Residence Card has expired.
I have UK driving licence, but I don't know if I am allowed to drive a car without valid Residence Card.
Can someone please answer this question?

No experience of this but as long as the driving licence is valid there shouldn't be a problem. You are not "illegal" with an expired RC.

If your RC expired, the police will treat you as an undocumented immigrant.
A friend of mine is now going through this painful experience. His RC expired after he and his EEA wife broke up. No divorce yet, and he has no application with Home Office.
One day he was pulled over without any reason. The officer contacted HO, but hasn't got any confirmation about friend's status. His car and UK driving license were seized at the spot, motor insurance cancelled him as soon as they got notified. He is now waiting for court date.
