Does anyone have recent experience requesting passport back while application still in process without withdrawing the application?

Simply use the link https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... ments.ofml and ensure you tick 'No' when it asks if you want to withdraw the application.

Did you ever request your passport? Did you get it back without the application getting withdrawn?
