Is it normal to receive COA and bio same time?

Hello
I recently made an application to the HO as the unmarried partner of an EEA national. Before this, I have often read on this forum that people first receive their bio-letter, and then COA, after they have done the biometric enrolment.

Two weeks after posting my application, I recieved a letter from the HO and in it were both my bio-letter and COA(without right to work).

So my question is if this is normal? Do people sometimes receive both bio-letter and COA at the same time? Is this new?

Thank you

I had an email confirmation first, then Bio metric letter, then COA with right to work. The email was generic one with no right to work. This is very resent. Usually u get COA with right to work after completing the finger prints etc at post office.

Did you fill in a valid email address on your application form?

But I did not put the 'dots' when I filled the firm. It could be why I never got any mail from the HO

Hello Punguru, I did fill in a valid email but I did not get any confirmation mail. Now that I think about it, I may have filled in the email wrongly. My email ends with .co.uk
