Applying for EEA Family Residency Within the UK

Hi everyone,

My partner is European and currently residing in the UK as a student. We have been together since 3 years now and we want to live together in the UK. I am a Non-EU citizen but I have the right to travel to the UK for up to 6 months without requiring a visa. We need advise on how to approach this EEA Family Permit process as it seems to be really overwhelming.

The question is would I be able to travel to the UK and apply for the EEA Family permit (or residency) from within the UK?

Thanks and much appreciated,
Adam

Have you lived together as a couple, with joint financial commitments (joint bank account statements, mortgages, etc) for at least two years? That is the general requirement for a "durable partner" EFM Family Permit.
