Dear members,

Lets explain my story.

Im married with my wife since March 2018. We did nikah on phone and we also got the official nikah namah with attested from Lahore ministery of foreign its also in English and Urdu language. The problem is we tried to get an visa for Holland an visit visa but Holland refused her visa and didnt give. We didnt told them she is my wife and we are married. But we told shes someones friend in Holland the one who was sponsoring (because i didnt sponsor) i live in Holland and she in Pakistan what we want is to try for uk EEA permit but the thing is we didnt meet yet. So what should we do? Because someone was telling for eea permit is nikah namah enough is this true? And what about rejection of Holland visa, what if they see she is “friend” of that sponsor in Holland and how its possible shes my wife?

What is your nationality??

As you live in Holland, what is the purpose of the trip to the UK?

Not having met in person might be an obstacle though.

Why dear it can be an obstacle? What should we do then?

Hi dear thanks for the links. So its better not to apply like this? Should we first meet each other and then try to apply?

Actually it is the immigration rules as opposed to the regulations that provides for the couple to have met in person before a spouse visa can be issued.

However, can a marital relationship be considered as marriage of convenience or sham if the couple have not met? Different cultures do things differently, therefore OP may be able to argue that notwithstanding the fact that he has not met his wife, they are nevertheless a genuine couple, notwithstanding the lack of consummation of their marriage.

Why not take a trip to Pakistan, meet your wife and then apply for the relevant visas?

Dear Kind and nice people. I have some questions regarding to EEA. As you know i have EU nationality Dutch and my wife pakistani passort. So my questions are :

1. Shes at Pakistan and I live in Holland so if we want apply she have to go to U.K. Embassy and apply there? Is it possible she can do alone application or is it important with me together

2. I heard about Brexit 2019 March. What means this, we cant apply after 2019 March anymore for EEA permit?

3. And last but not least, in case they give visa of EEA PERMIT what happens further is it possible to get PR or an passport and after how many years?

Thanks dear people
