PR - salary or wage

Question on behalf of my gf.

She works 2 jobs at the moment. One full time and second one several hours per week (varies).

Form states
Please give the ‘gross’ figure (i.e. before deductions for tax, national insurance (or equivalent)
and any other deductions). Say if the amount is per week, month or year.
For job #1 she can give "per year" figure
For job #2 this does not apply. Can she put "£10/hour"? Should she explain in cover letter than job #2 is on 0-hour contract?
