Hi everyone,
Please advise.
I was married to eea 2002-2015
Came to join them in UK in 2005
Divorce in 2015
My sister came to UK in 2013 and we applied for eea family member and for 4 years always had refusal letter for petty things. First refusal was we can prove she was dependant on us before she came to UK etc. Now my ex husband is still willing to help as my sister is caring for our child with special needs. I am married to British now. Don’t know how to go about my sisters paper we have spend so much money and her life here because we thought she was entitled to it. What can we do please? She is ask to sign now at the police station every month? Thank you

If you are divorced from your EEA citizen ex-husband, how is your sister related to him anymore?

The extended family member needs to be a relative of the EEA citizen (See Regulation 8).

Hi yes he is not related anymore but We just felt really let down by the law when my sister came to us. So there is nothing we can do now anymore?
