Morning forum

Does anyone know if a legal representative can escort you to report at the reporting centre?

My friend who is a non EU national (Ghana) overstayer who is living in the UK was married by proxy to his wife a Ghanaian national in 2016 who was at the time living in Belgium. The wife then obtained Belgian nationality in 2017 and she then moved to reside in the UK with her husband. They submitted an application EEA QP and EEA FM which was rejected as invalid. Husband was then asked to report. They resubmitted new applications which are now under consideration.

Is there any danger for the husband in reporting? Can he get a legal representative to accompany him?

Get your EU citizen wife to go with you, did you get a confirmation of new application submitted? take it with you. It is pretty Standard. Interview questions. get proof of relationship with you. As she is will be accompanying you wont any problem.
