my EEA FP got refused twice and they showed different reason each time.
- i have residence card in UK but not working now... does this mean i am not exercising treaty right? if not can my son sponsor them as he has EU passport only

- they refused saying i didnt show funds in my account to show i will be able to support them. once they are here they will work and support themselves... do i have to have cash in my account?

- i sent my sister cash via western union and bank transfer but they refused saying "we cant determine that these funds prove you need these funds tat you are the recipient or that you are financially dependent upon your sponsor " this is crazy cos i sent the money on their name and they use this funds...

i feel they are refusing for the sake of refusing...i would appreciate any help from you guys.

This means you have failed to meet a different condition each time.

What's your nationality, and if you are not working, what is your primary activity? How are you supporting youself? Are you a student?

Hence why my previous question. Generally speaking, you exercise treaty rights if you are an EU national living in the UK and are a "qualified person" by being a full-time worker, a job seeker, a student, or a self-sufficient person (see the official guidelines to determine if someone is a qualified person here). If none of these applies to you, then you are not exercising treaty rights.

Same questions above for your son: What's his nationality and his primary activity?

This means you do need to show suficient funds in your account.

Finding a job takes at least a month, and from then and getting your first payslip takes between 6 weeks and two months; so they will not be able to support themselves during that time.

Was this a one-off transfer, or have you done this consistently in the past? And, is this the only source of income they have in their account, and is this a reasonable amount to cover their living expenses? If it isn't then this is not proof they are your dependent.

They refuse when people fail to meet clearly specified criteria. Period.
