Hi everyone. I got my permanent resident card in 2014 . And permanent resident sticker was in my passport. I applied online for settlement status on 1.04.2014 . I gave my biometric information in Croydon on 10.04.19. And got COA on 12.04.19 . Still waiting decision from Home Office . It’s nearly 2 month . And I was granted Permanent resident card in 2014. In HO website says if you got Permanent resident card we don’t need nothing and we will swipe your PR to settlement status . I don’t know why it’s taking 2 month . anyone in same situation ?

Married dec15
Separated Feb 19
Divorce on going

21/05 Application submitted online.
21/05 COA Email received.
23/05 Pre-settled status received for 5 years...... already have a biometric card.

I mentioned I am separated in my application and divorce process almost done. Apparently I am still linked to my ex partner. Does anyone know if it is alright for me to travel when divorce is completed or do i need to reapply again for another pre-settled status under retained rights? And for those with retained rights.. does it say on the online status checker you have retained your rights? as mine just says pre-settled and nothing else.
Thanks

It's pointless to call resolution centre. You'll only get the answer like:

Application is in final stages.

Wait another week and we'll escalate the application.

Waiting for some checks to be done.

Application is being handled by caseworker in another building so we don't know anything else.

Exactly, today I called them and they said oh there is no notes or updates means it should be in the final stage. When did you receive your COA? I received mine on 15th May.

You can find who is your MP on this website:

https://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/mps/

you will find his Contact info.

I emailed my MP about how long i have been waiting and explained to him the normal waiting time and how long i have been waiting for so long without reasonable answer or clear answer from the Home office. and i asked him to act on my behalf.

I have received a quick respond from him that he contacted the Home Office.

I have mentioned my Case Ref No, Full Name, Address and DOB.

If he didn't reply try to call his office , if not let your friends in different Constituency to contact their mps about your case , just to show them this is unfair and being kept in dark make you worry!! this is the best way to let them act faster.
