Please help needed.
I made PR Application ROR , married 2012, Divorce 2017.
Application posted = middle of January 2019
Long COA =Yes
Biometric =Yes
PR =waiting
I haven't seen much people waiting this long.

My question is can I apply for Settlement status now that it is fully opened whilst have pending Permanent Residence Application with HO

Hi

If you apply now for Settled/ Presettled status, your pending application will be cancelled automatically. You would rather wait for outcome and then apply.

Do you mean in case if you current application is rejected how it will affect your future online application? Well, you will have to analyse your refusal letter why your application is rejected. Most important document to provide while online application for setteled/ presettled status is your relationship with EU citizen (marrige certificate, divorce paper, EU ID etc).

Do you know any reason why they are taking so long deciding your case??

I did not submit my ex wife ID because no contact with her anymore.

I Did not know that after biometric and COA right to work during Application that it will still be an issue with the ex wife.

Some people provide even conversation as an evidence where ex refuses to give her/ his ID. In this scenario HO can accept your application. But again some people do not provide anything and they are still being ussued with the card. That is why the chances are 50/50.

[/quote] - I assume if you are issued with residency card now when you apply for settled/ presettled status you won't need it any more, just provide marriage and divorce paper to show how you've been related to this person.

You are welcome. I forgot to mention that when you apply for settled/ presettled status online under section of your sponsor you will need to provide your ex date of birth, nationality and address and tick the box if she applies for Settlement Scheme or not.

Are there anyone who made PR application middle of January 19 who has not received decision yet?

After 3months waiting I have received my Permanent Residence Card today. I'm so much happy. I wish you guys here goodluck as you apply and get a good decision.
