EUSS for the children of my unmarried partner

Hi everyone,
I live in the UK along with my partner. My partner is non-EEA, but has ILR in the UK. Although not married, we are together for 7 years and have a 4 yo daughter.
I wanted to use the EU Settlement Scheme family permit route to bring my partner's 2 non-EEA children to the UK. Worth adding that their father is deceased.
Is this possible given I'm not married to their mother (although can prove We live together)? Do I need to show they are financially dependent on me?
