Please seniors help out with this question.Can I apply for settled status under the new scheme after completing continuous 5 yrs on derivative resident permit as a zambrano carer but presently have leave to remain as a parent since April last year?

I have called the EU settlement scheme and I have been told that I can apply for settled status based on my expired derivative resident permit held btw may 2013 and may 2018 even though I currently hold leave to remain as a parent under the immigration rule.Please is anyone in similar situation please share thoughts .Thanks
