Hi, I am an unmarried partner of an irish citizen with family permit coming into the UK on April and applying for EEA settlement status. I have selected passport as my document as I don't have a BRP or resident permit. I finished my application and made a biometric appoinment at Croydon London costing 100 pounds.

Now I am confused that on the appointment day, will they take my passport away and send it to the home office or they will only need if for the scanning?

Also, will they require my partner passport in the centre? And What kind of documents they will need to scan?
Does anyone have a semilar situation like me? can you share your experience or give me some guidance?
