Notice of marriage to home office

Hi hope someone can help,I am European and want get marry to Srilankan he have refugee visa in uk
We went today to register office to give notice
And they asked questions separated I done mistake with date of birth instead 24th I said 26th....
Do u think it will be problem as they will send this to home office...,
I am just worry thx lot

If your relationship is Genuine Nothing to worry. Even if you answered 24th Home Office still can investigate or may visit you on your wedding day. They have done it in the past

If it's still Valid then he may not have any issue with the Home Office
Be prepared this time. Try to know about your future husband . What he likes, his family, what he does in free time, where he work , what he does .........( just some examples )
I 've seen home office interview couple on their wedding day in the registry office

When the marriage is between couples where one or both doesn't have settled status in the UK, it's standard procedure for the Registrar to notify the Home Office of your registration to marry. The HO can then extend the notification period from 28 - 70 days in order to investigate and/or interview you both separately before the marriage can take place.
Have you registered with a Home Office designated Registry Office
