Residence Card

Hello,

I am British & my wife is an Indian national.

She came from India to UK in June 2015 on Spouse / CP visa (issued for 20/Mar/2015 to 20/Dec/2017).

I have worked in the UK for 9 and she 1.5 years (employed as a full time).
In November 2016, we have moved from UK to Republic of Ireland to join new job (I got an offer).

In Ireland, she has “Residence Card of a Family Member of a Union Citizen (Stamp 4EUFam) visa (valid for 5 years – 15/May/2018 to 26/July2022).

To enter in the UK from Ireland she has applied “EEA Family Permit – Under Surinder Singh Route” (valid for six months only – expiring on 28 August 2019).

Now to stay further in the UK she needs to apply a visa.

Therefore, my queries are:

Do I need to apply Residence card or I can apply for pre settled status?

Can I apply residence card immediately or I need to wait near expiy of family permit visa?

How long it will take to process visa?

Many thanks
