I'm non-eea national and I'm going to apply for an EEA family permit as I'm over 21 years old and I need proof of dependency. However my dad used to send me money through western union but I never kept the receipt. Now is it okay if I save the last 3 months of western union receipt??
Pleaaase someone help as I'm going to apply on August.

is your DAD an EU National ? Only EU national can sponsor another NON EU ... and 3 months is nothing

Yes my dad has a British nationality, I feel bad that I didn't keep the old receipt. Anyway is 6 months enough? I can wait and save the receipts.

A British citizen Cannot sponsor you under the eea rules.

Is your father only British or another EU citizen too?

What EU nationality specifically does your father hold??

He is holding Gibraltar EU National

Gibraltar is not an EEA state. It's access to EU citizenship is via the route of being part of UK family of nations. Gibraltar national cannot exercise treaty rights in the UK.

I have contacted UK government and they saif I can apply, you confused me now however any idea what should I apply for?

I asked about Gibraltar residents I told them about the situation of my dad nationality ect... And they said okay since you are over 21 years old you have to apply for EEA family permit as a dependent child but they did not give me any information about documents I should give them but when I started looking on UK government site I think that I can have those documents except from the proof of money receipts, I never keep them in previous years.
I have now only the last 6 months receipts of western union.

If you didn't keep the receipts yourself, check with your father if he kept the receipts delivered to him when he used to send the money.

If your father is British and lives in Britain, he cannot sponsor you under EEA route.

There are cases where a British Nationals can be EEA sponsors but it doesn't seem the case for you.

My father is gibralterian british citizens living in Gibraltar.

Gibralter father could sponsor under EUSS Family Permit, however. Perhaps the OP meant that, and not the EEA family permit.
