You need to tell us more.
- How come you have an EEA permit with a Britsh wife?
- Is your wife an EEA national too? or,
- Did you use to live in the EU with your wife then you came together to the UK?
Or
- Did you get the EEA permit because you are/were a family member of another EEA national?
It's important to understand how you go the EEA permit in order to help you

As far as I know, if you've been back in the UK for 3 months or more then she'll need to prove she is working, studying or job seeking so you can get your pre-settled status.
You need to call the EU Resolution centre to get the paper form.
Good luck.

Under the guidance if you were issued residence under the 2016 Regulations, there are no needs for further assessment.
What was the outcome? Was it granted?
I am troubled by the government's discrimatory practice for surinder Singh family members under the Settled status scheme.
Having to fill a 60 pages form is disgusting.
There should not be differences in treatment between EU family member and British family member.
Even though the scheme is administered under national law, UK law should really not specifically target British family member and make the process excessively burdensome for them.
