EEA Family Permit

Hi All,

My wife (Spanish National) and I have lived in Australia for years and are now wanting to move to the UK. This is pretty straight forward and the UK immigration website is pretty straight forward. We've never lived there before and we will live in Australia up until we move there (in about 6 months). I'm half way through the application and a couple of questions they ask are worrying me:

1. We have no address yet, I put a friend’s down. Do we need to have an address before going?

2. One questions asks for UK issued residence documents. My partner is from an EU country so she has the right to stay but she doesn’t live there right now so she doesn’t have the documents. I’m just wondering what we should do? Apply for some other documents before completing this application.

Any help with these would be amazing and also any tips for the application would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Wheelo the third.

Please note you might not qualify for the EEA route at all. If the UK leaves the EU with no deal, you need to have moved to the UK before Brexit date, which is currently scheduled for October 31st. If you are only moving to the UK in 6 months' time, to benefit from the EEA route you need to cross your fingers that a deal is reached or that Brexit date is delayed again.
