Hey all, just wondering if anyone has applied for UK residence card previously? I had just entered the UK in late June (around 6 weeks ago) on EEA Family Permit and had just applied for residence card en route to then apply for my EU settlement scheme family permit. Just gotten an email from the Home Office today that the residence card application could take up to 6 months for processing, which got me really worried as my EEA Family Permit is only valid for 6 months. Does this mean that I have to exit the UK to depart again from my family in the UK, if I still have yet to get my residence card by the time my EEA Family Permit (issued in late June this year) expires in December this year?
