  • Hi Everyone ! :D Here is the question 🙈 why they still asking me a question about " sponsor" when doing a application of EU settlement shame? If i have BRP with
Retained rights of residence after our divorce? In real he is not my sponsor any more right? He was when we've been married. Do i have to apply based of my residency or based of our marriage length? Which is count i do not understand. 🤷‍♀️

    Any advise ????

A person who has retained right of residence may apply for pre settled or settled status, as the case may be, in their own right, if they so wish.

Tnx for your replay obie 🙏🏻 Here is a case, we' been married almost 5 years. Got married in 2011 and divorce in 2016. First family permit got in 2012 which was 5 years sticker visa in passport. After that I applied retained right as i use to be spouse of eea and got another 5 years BRP(in 2017) but is actually card with chip. When I started application in android phone, I scanned this card, so identify done without any issues. Then is application it self, which asks me i am applying own my residence or i can link my application to someone from eeu. As he is not my husband any more and i have my own retained rights I marked as own my residence. Then there is a section about sponsor, here i stuck. He is not my sponsor any more. Why do they need his details? Can i go through to application without this section?
