How do I know if I have ILR

Hi Guys
Just joined this great and important discussion, I desperately need to know if I have indefinite leave to remain or not.
I know that I should know, I am French, have been in UK for 19 years, working all this time in a professional job. Have children, married to a Brit, pay taxes, etc. etc.
None of my documents have the actual words "indefinite leave to remain" on them. The last stamp I have on my old old passport, and the same on some small double folded light blue card, says "IND" in big capitals, and then in smaller letters "there is at present no time limit to the holders stay in the United Kingdom"
Logic dictates that this means I have indefinite leave to remain, but I cannot find a clear and definitive answer anywhere.
HELP - please.

PR or Residence permit written anywhere.

I have a blue RESIDENCE PERMIT of the EEC card which has the same stamp "IND" in big capitals, and then in smaller letters "there is at present no time limit to the holders stay in the United Kingdom" followed by the number 104

Blue folded card? Did you apply for permanent residence? Then yes permanent residence is ILR.

I honestly cannot remember what I ever applied for, but obviously, this residence permit did not materialize out of thin air. Hence I am asking this question here.
The card says RESIDENCE PERMIT, nowhere is there the word PERMANENT. The stamp in the card says 'no time limit' so I guess that a residence permit that has no time limit is a permanent residence permit that is indefinite.
So perhaps I am just being pedantic here. I would , however, be reassured if I saw the actual words PERMANENT and INDEFINITE LEAVE TO REMAIN somewhere on my documents.

My husband has blue foldable thing which clearly says “Document certfiying permanent residence”. He got it last November. I hope this gives some idea.
Do you remember years ago if you filled out a long form, giving all your immigration and employment history? When did you get that document? Maybe system has changed ever since then?

Card was issued in October 2005

It does sound, based on the date, like you have ILR.
No time limit (NTL): guidance wrote:EEA nationals with indefinite leave to remain
In some cases, an EEA national may be granted indefinite leave under the Immigration Rules. This may happen, for example, where the EEA national:
• was issued indefinite leave as an EEA national before 30 April 2006 (the date on which permanent residence was created under the EEA Regulations)...
Does it look like one of the stamps on Page 6 of the
Home Office Right to Rent scheme guidance?
Your best course of action to confirm its continued validity is to apply for an
NTL transfer to an ILR BRP. That would verify the validity of the ILR, but costs £229.

yup - my stamp is the upper black/white rectangular one with the big "ind"
