Hello everyone ...

I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences of applying for COA / RC ...
I am a non EU but my husband is EU national with UK settled status (indefinite leave to remain)
what are the supporting documents I should submit apart from passport and marriage certificate ,
is it the same as when applying for EEA family permit (6 month visa)? all evidences of relationship such as photos chat history etc
and also I have been told : do I need to submit my husband original passport not just a copy ? as he could travel anytime for business in case his original passport held in HO

kindly advice .... any advises fully appreciate :D

Hi,

I'm in the same position as you (except my husband is only applying for pre-settled status now).

From what I was advised, the amount\contents of papers is approximately the same as for EEA2:

1) copy of ID of your EU family member
2) proof of your address in UK (and the fact that you live together)
3) wedding certificate
4) your passport, of course (if you don't have BRC)

Re evidence of relationship, I was told by my consultant, that this was important of the EEA FP stage, not here. On this stage you need to prove the fact that you live together in UK with your husband
