Is OVRO update needed after PSS?

Hi,
I am a non EEA national who got PSS through dual EEA/UK spouse.

As a non EEA, I’ve had to update my house, work, visa changes to OVRO (Overseas Visitors Record Office). But now I will be exercising Pre-Settlement rights, which is nothing to do with non-EEA tier based visas and requirements.

Am I still supposed to let OVRO about my current visa circumstance change?

It’d be great if a lawyer can give me information on it. Thanks!

This question has been asked previously, and unfortunately does not have a straightforward answer as of yet. See post: general-uk-immigration-forum/if-require ... l#p1824590

Thanks. There is no information out there.

But my gut feeling tells that we still have to let OVRO know about our visa change. I don’t think we will ever use the Registration Form again. But still need to update the visa/residence/name etc changes. Because at the end of the day wr are still here as Non-Eu citizens, who had to register with OVRO when we moved to this country.

I am thinking about giving a call to OVRO, and HO Resolution Centre tomorrow.

I am still confused. OVRO is closed today.

Can an admin or lawyer give an information here please?

Since I couldn’t get any information here I went to OVRO today.

I was told that I do NOT need to register or update with them anymore, as it’s not a requirement.

If you switch your visa from Tier 2, 4 or whatever to SS/PSS you are exempt from police registration. Yay!
