Bringing my partner in the UK with a residence permit

Hi everybody.
I am a daughter of an EEA national in the UK, and I am waiting for my residence permit as a family member of an EEA national My mother and two sisters already have their permits to remain in the UK for 5 years. My partner and I would like to continue our education here after next year (master studies) and to continue to work and live here afterwards.
I am interessted in the options we have for him to come here other than student visa. Is there a possibility that he can get an EEA family permit as an extended family member of my father and apply for a residence card? What are the other options? Any similar experiences? Thank you

Only if he's dependent on your father and a member of his household, which as per the wording of your post, I assume is not the case. Furthermore, if he's already been a student in the UK, independently from your father and not living in his household, then recent dependency will be almost impossible to "prove".

So answer to this question is very likely 'No'.
What are the other options?
Extending his student visa.

If you were considering marriage, this would not work as since you are not a EEA national yourself you cannot sponsor him as a spouse if you do not already have permanent residence or Settled Status.
