Right to work

Hi,

I'm a non-EU national married to EU national. In UK on FP valid till Feb 2020. I've now applied for EEA2 card, received CoA without work atm (I did not provide original of my husband's ID). The CoA is saying my work status will not be revised before decision.

Now the question is: do I have the right to work? I'm not asking how to prove it to potential employer, but in principle: does CoA without work offset my FP? I assume not.

I have a couple of interviews coming and I don't want to jeopardise my EEA2 request or future good character questions. Neither want I to lie to potential employers (even if this by the lack of knowledge).

Yes. As a person married to an EU citizen, you have the automatic right to work even without applying ever for EEA documentation (the documentation is done to prove your right to work, not to acquire it).
